| Rezumat: | One of the reasons for which this article treats the issues of deixis from the perspective of pragmatic linguistics is the fact that the system of deictic elements is the place where language meets reality. The contextual character is one of the fundamental features of natural languages, as well as one of the central relationships among language, perception and knowledge. What is communicated through a message depends on the linguistic shape of the message, the characteristics of the situation of communication in which the speaker and the interlocutor are and, in general, on the common knowledge of extralinguistic reality owned by the protagonists during the communication act. The article discusses the deictic person. |
