| Rezumat: | [Semantic aspects of the onomastics of contemporary painting] Contemporary painting involves a large variety of topics, which is supported by new forms, techniques and technologies of representation, but also by complex interactions between new kinds of artistic manifestation (related to painting), such as performances, happenings, the new media, graffiti, and so on. Most often, the message conveyed and received synthesises the metaphorical visual content through the title or name of the artistic creation. Naturally, one cannot imagine that a painted work of art has got attached a page of comments that describes precisely what is happening in it. The name of the painting is the element that tries to suggest and represent the universe of the act of creation. |
