| Rezumat: | [Names of the Virgin Mary in the volume Minune şi Taină (‘Wonder and Mystery’), by Traian Dorz] The objective of the current paper is to consider the stylistic values of the names given to the Virgin Mary in the volume Minune şi Taină (‘Wonder and Mystery’), highlighting their role in creating the lyrical frame of Traian Dorz – a contemporary Romanian poet, unfortunately a less studied writer, the author of thousands of mystical poems and many volumes of memoirs and religious meditation. Besides foregrounding meanings that are more or less known, which clearly refer to certain biblical episodes, the employment of such onomastic terms or collocations in the aforementioned volume emphasises aspects regarding the author’s artistic creed, his vision of life and Divinity. |
