| Rezumat: | This article offers a brief overview over the situation of the Romanian diaspora in Switzerland and in Zurich and informs about a reasearch project that means to study the speakers biography and the identity of the Romanians from Serbian Banat. There are about 6000 Romanians in Switzerland and most of them are leaving in the French speaking part of Switzerland. In Zürich area there are about 1000 Romanian speakers registred, 45 percent of them declared that they are citizens of the former Federal Republic of Yugoslavia. My study focuses on these Romanian speakers, on their migration experiences and social integration. In this article I will present the language biography of Pavel, who was born in Serbian Lokve and emigrate to Zurich in 1975, and I will discuss his remarks on his own identity and future perspectives. |
