Rezumat: | Until recently,Chinese internet nationalism (netizen nationalism) has exerted a growing influences upon policy-makers home and world due to the growing popularity of internet. Other than conducting the analysis in the Macro way under the framework of theories of International Relations in terms of sovereignty and national interests, this essay attempts to take a psychological approach over the initiative of Chinese internet nationalism. Three factors as government regulation role, social memory (collective memory), economic drives are taken into accounts for deeper probe onto the origins of such thoughts generated. The article concludes that framing effects further solidify the existed psychological sentiments, to keep the nationalism under the control; the government as well as the media remains responsible for directing the nationalism into a healthier way. |
