| Rezumat: | Among the problems that confront Ukraine after its admission to the European Council, especially with a view to its joining the EU, the most important is that referring to the rights of the national minorities, stipulated in the frame convention of the European Council. Taking into account the principles stated in this document, the Romanian community of Ukraine has expressed its position concerning the rights stipulated by the European standards. Most of the claims refer to the Romanian language and culture, which the Romanian population of Ukraine should benefit of through the state institutions. The Romanian community in Ukraine proposes a sincere collaboration in order to put into practice the European norms and standards in all domains of social life, and hopes for a positive attitude on the part of the Ukrainian government, regarding: the Romanian community, language, culture, literature, human rights, claims, collaboration and a positive attitude. |
