Rezumat: | The present paper aims at offering an overview on the dialectic relationship author-reader in the 7th decade of the last century, a period in which the Romanian literature began to outwit the compulsions of socialist-realism, as a new literary paradigm was progressively gaining ground, i.e. the neo-modernism. Drawing on bibliographical sources belonging to established narratologists, but also to outstanding Romanian literary critics and historians, we intend to synthesise the main features underlying four important elements of any prose fiction, i.e. the concrete author, the abstract author, the concrete reader and the abstract reader, as well as their relationship with the main subversive strategies prose writers resorted to during the aforementioned period. |
