| Rezumat: | The analysis of the relationship between professional ethics and the voiced manifestations of Kazuo Ishiguro’ s protagonist in the novel “The Remains of the Day” attempts to reveal issues of identity and self-knowledge. At the same time the analysis focuses on the role of the narrative voice in connection with the self- assumed lack of assertiveness and agency of the protagonist narrator. |
