| Abstract: | This paper addresses a controversial issue in the field of grammar: “syntaxeme” vs. “syntheme”. The intention is not to promote a particular linguistic terminology, but to draw attention to a meta-specialized and, partly, upgraded language, given the fact that dynamics works at all language levels, including at the syntactic one. We propose therefore a comparative terminological approach on these two grammatical concepts, while tangentially calling into question other representative syntactic units that are relevant in a traditional vs. modern approach. |
