| Abstract: | Romanian author of French expression, as he is generally presented in dictionaries (although in French bookshops he is to be found in the French literature department) Panait Istrati was his own translator as well. The article attempts to point out the way in which he dealt with the Romanian version of his masterpiece Kyra Kyralina, a novel in which he showed the whole world his Romanian identity. |
