The paper focuses on the categories of the epithet in Alexandru Philippide’s poetry. They are investigated in keeping with the grammatical connections and the aesthetic values. Therefore, the paper targets the grammatical and aesthetic categories of the epithet. Epithets are classified and supported by examples, while there is made a connection between their usage and the epoch guarding over Philippide’s poetry.
