Abstract:In the case of an “ideal” translation process, three spaces must be taken into consideration without marginalising any of them: the translation, intra-translation and inter-translation spaces. The present paper aims to identify representative paradigms in the translation from Russian into Romanian by focusing on translators from Russian their thoughts on translation. Overall, in the works this study takes into consideration, the target text, viewed as a poetic or non-poetic translation “derivative”, is seen along various coordinates: communicative-conceptual, functional-pragmatic, syntactic-structural, expressive-artistic.
Key words:translation practice, translation theory, translation paradigms
