Rezumat: | The authors argue that science is an objective and rational process applied to reality for the purpose of gaining knowledge. In order for its results to reflect reality just as it is and to be trustworthy, scientific knowledge must derive from the conjunction of accurate observation with reflection subjected to reasoned methods and instruments, free of any ideological interference. Another highlight is that science must be aligned with the reality to which it is applied, for which reason natural sciences are the basis of any scientific knowledge, and the presence of their perspective is imperative. |
