  • L’article propose quelques principes à observer dans la formation des enseignants de langues spécialisées et un contenu curriculaire approprié, réparti sur les trois étapes de la formation : la formation de base, la spécialisation et la professionnalisation. Ce contenu curriculaire répond - à notre avis - aux exigences du marché du travail concernant l’enseignement/apprentissage des langues et prend en considération le contexte général de son déroulment. Du point de vue théorique, nous avons adopté une approche actionnelle privilégiant l’acquisition et la maîtrise de savoirs disciplinaires étroitement liés aux savoirs professionnels indispensables au déroulement efficace du processus d’enseignement/apprentissage des langues spécialisées. Notre article a une orientation surtout pratique, les assises théoriques - linguistiques et didactiques - étant supposées connues par les enseignants de langues spécialisées.
  • The article puts forward certain principles to be taken into account when training teachers of language for specific purposes and presents the proper curriculum content for each of the three stages of such training : basic training, specialization and professional training. In our opinion, this curriculum content meets the needs of the labour market as far as teaching/learning foreign languages is concerned and takes into account the general context of its evolution. From a theoretical point of view, we have adopted an action approach focusing on the acquisition and consolidation of subject matter knowledge tightly connected to professional knowledge essential for the efficient teaching/learning of specialised languages. Our article is mostly practically oriented, as it supposes that its theoretical assumptions – both in linguistics and in teaching methodology – are well known to teachers of specialised languages.
