| Abstract: | [The morphological behaviour of the terms in the IT field] This paper regards the morphological behaviour of some recently borrowed terms in the IT field, their tendency to choose a certain gender and number. These terms choose mostly the neutral gender with the termination -uri for the plural and rarely they choose two genders at the same time – masculine and neutral – as the term mouse does. The verbs mostly apply to the Ist (-a) and the IVth (-i, -ui) conjugations forming the present tense using the termination -ez or -esc. The terms keep their foreign aspect, when used at the plural they add the termination using a hyphen. |
