| Abstract: | [European terminological harmonization and distortions of the linguistic discourse in the new Romanian: between the tribute paid to the language of globalization and the advantages of the terminological monosemantics] The paper discusses aspects of the communication in Romanian (after 1989 and especially after Romania’s adheration to the EU in 2007), translation problems from/into Romanian, loan words and meaning changes, the Romglish and Business Romanian, aspects of the european language in the context of the globalization of the English language and the social, economic and cultural realities, based on a data corpus (prelevation sources: media, advertising) and related to structural defaults in the Romanian discourse as well. |
