| Abstract: | Some facts and negative experiences of teachers and students involved in interpreting and translating activities are meant to a deeper research of the causes which could offer an answer to the question: Why is English often the control-language in a translating/interpreting process Romanian-German/German-Romanian? It seems to be necessary to find and analyse some facts and figures concerning the relationship between mother-tongues and foreign languages as base and target languages as well, from the point of view of the trust we have in them, and in which of them. |
