Abstract: | [New aspects of the headlines’ choice in present-day Romanian media] The paper deals with the relations between the discursive universe of the TV speeches and the headlines of the TV texts. The radical changes in the world of the media communication channels brought new and significantly different modalities for the headlines selection. In the Romanian media, the main stylistic procedure in use today, for the above mentioned purpose, is the hyperbolization and the indeterminacy, as means to produce “sensation”. The consequence, in the expression area, is the desemantization and the pragmaticalization of the press headlines, which become simple clichés with the only mission to attract the public attention on the subjects chosen by the media producers. The examples were taken from Internet. |
