| Abstract: | Our goal in this article is to undeline the differences between „ca” as a quality adverb and „ca” or „ca şi” as comparative prepositions, differences which tend to be neglected in spoken Romanian in some syntactic structures, like, for example, the „suplementary predicative” one. In the same time, this article gives some clarifications regarding the usage in standard Romanian of the adverb „ca”, particulary when this term is associated with (stays in front of) another word which beggins with one of the syllables „ca-, ce-, ci-, cu-, co-, che, chi, că-”, associations non-euphonic (tautophonic) in Romanian, but, from a grammatical point of view, well formed. |
