| Abstract: | [Some Notes on the Position of the Passive with “to be” in Relation to the Reflexive-Passive in Old Romanian Language] This article discusses the position of passive constructions with “to be” in relation to the reflexive-passive, diachronically, on a limited corpus consisting of translated writings from the XVI – XVIII centuries. The purpose of the paper is to study the usage frequency of passive structures with "to be" in Old Romanian. Hence, the article analyses the ways of expression and marking of the passive subject and complement of agent, as well as their position in passive structures with „to be” and reflexive-passive. |
