| Abstract: | [Loanwords of French origin in the nowadays mass media] The French influence, in a normal decrease, considering the nowadays social and political background all over the world, can be noticed in different areas, such as cookery, literature, movie industry, fashion, medicine and music. The studied linguistic material was taken by the press, mainly the written press, as it is a fact that all the changes in the language are being faithfully recorded in the newspapers. The use of these words in the lexical and grammatical system of Romanian language shows that there are four types of words: used foreign words, words that are about to be used, words of French origin and French words. |
