Abstract: | [Elements of orality in old Romanian texts] The paper aims to analyse certain orality marks identified in making up old Romanian texts. The author starts from noticing the fact that certain specific oral communication marks are used in the studied texts: these elements may reveal inherent features of the oral channels represented in writing (phonetic accidents, morpho-syntactic phonemes – verbal phrases, analytical approach, repetitions, ellipses, anacolut, particular marks of dialogues, lexical elements of colloquial orality due to the socio-cultural reasons, elements of specific diatopical variants, languages and/or diastratical ones – popular, colloquial language) characteristic to the old Romanian language. The indices entailing the effect of orality may be found at various linguistic levels: phonetic, morphological, syntactic, lexical and pragmatic – discursive level. The investigations field comprises a selective material taken off the Romanian texts of the 16th –18th century. The theoretical frame of the approach is the historical pragmatics and the discourse analysis. |
