| Abstract: | [A case of linguistic heterogenity: non-defining structures in the Old Romanian language] The paper is looking for possible linguistical correspondences between the pragmatical values of some non-defining clauses and phrases in early Romanian language and their syntactical structure. Based on samples of written language taken from earliest Romanian texts (XVI-th century), the author tries to put together a description of the syntactical categories representative for the linguistical heterogeneity, belonging to the discursive plan, symbolized by the investigated structures. The above mentioned texts include both, non-defining clauses with dialogized function (alocutives, expressives elements) and non-defining clauses with dialogical function (digressions, incident structures with intertextual function, incident structures with meta-communicative function). The items belonging to the first category have a complex syntactical structure, while those from the second category have a simple syntactical structure, with repetitive frames and some time incoherent sentences, therefore difficult to be recognized. |
