| Abstract: | [Toponymical etymologies between history, geography and linguistics. Notes concerning MDTM] Usually, the accurate linguistic analysis of the toponym’s form and the identification of the relation between this one and the geographical object provides the successfully establishment of the topic names’ etymons. There are, yet, situations when the historical and/or geographical documentation can generate enlightening details, which can determine turnabouts even in the case of some apparently easy etymologies. |
