| Abstract: | The present paper is a comparative analysis of the grammatical structure of the biblical paremiological statement. To explain certain morpho-syntactical and lexical options, we embarked upon the collation between the Romanian versions of the Book of Proverbs and the primary Greek source, as well as the Latin translation, which is the richest in the suggestions it offers for the Romanian equivalents. |
