Abstract:[Corpus of Discourses on Nutrition. Types of Texts. Phase II – Digitization of Food Cultural Heritage. Bacau County – eCULTFOOD (PN-III P2-2.1-BG-2016-0390)]
The present paper aims at presenting the particularities of food-related discourses obtained by field investigation in the localities from Bacău County between November 2016 and October 2017, in a complex research project coordinated by us, funded by UEFISCDI, PN-III P2-2.1-BG-2016-0390, Digitization of Food Cultural Heritage. Bacau County – eCULTFOOD (2016–2018), within an interdisciplinary team of linguists, ethnologists and computer scientists. The result of this project was a complex database http://ecultfood.ub.ro, consisting of discourses reflecting the culinary recipes and food contexts in the Bacău county, audio and video recorded, transcribed and operationalized according to terminological and ethnological criteria. Following the investigation, two broad categories of collected content emerged: a repertoire of recipes, a repertoire of free discourses about eating codes and eating behaviours. The two types of discourses can be classified into the subclasses according to the particularities of the communication situation.
