| Abstract: | [Latinisms, regionalisms and archaisms in the work of Năsăud scholars in the first half of the twentieth century] This paper highlights the way in which Năsăud scholars in the first half of the twentieth century used a language interspersed with many Latinisms, regionalisms and folk terms in their writings. This fact contributes to the understanding of some of the aspects regarding the formation of certain words or the meaning(s) with which they are used. At the same time, the study points out that intellectuals of the time mastered the Latin language, as shown by the large number of Latin words employed. |
