Abstract:This paper is intended to present the influence that English has had over the specialized terminology from the field of marketing. During its evolution, the terms of English origin related to marketing from the Romanian vocabulary have constantly adapted phonetically and ortographically to Romanian, sometimes existing in language the English term as well as its Romanian equivalent. At the end of the paper we have included a list of terms borrowed from English, their definition, their corresponding Romanian terms and examples of use taken from the Romanian mass-media.
