| Abstract: | The paper aims to make a review of the component parts of a critical edition, which will represent the subject of a future doctoral thesis. Radu Tempea’s Romanian Grammar from 1797 hasn’t benefited of a interpretative transcription accompanied by a linguistic and philological study, remaining in Cyrillic graphy until today. Our study offers the possibility that the text can be known by today’s readers. Moreover, the explanation of the graphy, phonetic, morphological, syntactical and lexical problems facilitates the knowledge of the Romanian literary language from the end of the eighteenth century. |
