Abstract: | As opposed to the inventory of the delocutive pronouns of deference present in the Wallachian documents, the inventory of the forms attested in the Moldovian documents displays: a) two forms (one composed of the nominal element and the aggreing possessive and the other made up of the nominale element and the genitive of the personal pronoun) with an asymmetric distribution according the number (singular vs. plural) and the case (N≡Ac vs. oblique cases); b) suppletion, resulting from the (reduction of) overabundance in the singular; c) a lower number of analyzable forms, showing an internal inflexion, whose selection is controlled by either inter-paradigmatic factors (the analogy with the self-designation honorific) or intra-paradigmatic (in order to maintain case distinctions); d) the phenomenon of the reduction of root allomorphy by aligning forms of N≡Ac to G≡D and vice versa. |
