| Abstract: | The translation as a practice and as a theory seems to have taken from the religious discourse a number of notions, of terms, approaches and strategies. An example is the concept of fidelity; for the sake of this fidelity, the translation of sacred texts was forbidden or subject to endless conflicts. |
