| Abstract: | The contribution deals with the so-called «secondary palatalization» of Latin qu + e, i in Romance languages together with Albanian. Particular attention is paid to Sardinian which has never been mentioned in this context (historical grammars by Meyer-Lübke and Lausberg); here the area of qui > t∫i is for the first time circumscribed. |
