| Abstract: | This paper demonstrate the fact that in the Romanian language, one of the cardinal numerals has got synonyms (dublet, cuplu, tandem, pereche). The noun pereche is used in parallel with the numeral doi. This noun has distinctive semantic features, depending on the context. |
