| Abstract: | The present study aims to examine the way in which the word praxis ‘fact, practice’ – already detected in Old Romanian (praxiu), in religious texts or in historical writings – is used in various (con)texts and with different meanings. A diachronic perspective is adopted; nevertheless, from time to time, the discussion also approaches synchronic language facts. |
