| Abstract: | The study attempts a diachronic structural semantics approach devoted to the interaction between old (south)-slavic loans and their correspondents inherited from Latin, the first undergoing spectacular semantic evolutions. To be more precise, the analysis is devoted to the semantic mutations of the Romanian word ciudă (old south-sl. čudo) and its Latin equivalent, minune. |
