Abstract:[Post-modern novel from the Republic of Moldova and the European model. Distortions and dialogues]
Romania joining European Union certainly establishes new cultural, linguistic and literary relations which, in a bigger or smaller delay, marks in this way the cultural area from the east of the Prut as well. Fixed on the European idea, young writers from Moldova make appreciable efforts to attract and initialize the reader in the rituals and habits of democratic exercise: tolerance, difference, pluralism, multiculturalism. At the same time with the option for a new aesthetics, these writers have also opened themselves to a continuous reformulation of identity. Today we can speak about a functional dialogue between the post-modernist novel from the Republic of Moldova, the way it is, and the European model. Our observations have been realized in two directions: from one hand, we have tried to observe the predispositions of the post-modern writers for a dialogical reflection of literature and, in general, of the cultural phenomenon; on the other hand, we have been also interested in the competence of those who have been lately acting as novelists who organize their artistic texts in a dialogical way.
