Abstract: | The article analyzes the evolution of the postmodern Romanian novel. The text analysis is based on two top writers of the eighties' Generation: Mircea Cărtărescu and Gheorghe Crăciun. There is a commentary of the concept, construction, and narrative discourse in the novels Orbitor (author Mircea Cărtărescu) and Pupa russa (author Gheorghe Crăciun). The first novel contains an analysis of the fractal structure of the represented world. In the novel Pupa russa there are observations on the concept of novel-synthesis and “synesthesic” narration. |
