| Abstract: | [Cookbooks as meeting points: Language(s) and eating/cooking culture between 1960 and 1989. Local, regional, international and ideological aspects in cookbooks in GDR and the Socialist Republic of Romania] The paper discusses some aspects of the German and Romanian languages for special purposes in the field of eating/cooking, by taking into consideration names of traditional dishes and recipes. The aim of the research is to emphasize the extent to which the ideological component influences/manipulates eating and cooking traditions and habits. |
