| Abstract: | [Stylistics of name and naming. A point of view] This paper aims to present a point of view on the possibility of stylistic interpretation of the contextual value of proper names and the importance it can be given within the framework of a people’s cultural strategy. The starting point of the paper is built on the idea that a proper name in use (determined contextually) acts like any other sign of communication, displaying a stylistic function that governs the specific action of Jakobson’s functions. |
