| Abstract: | The paper presents an empirical research conducted by the author in 2006-2009 tackling the role of theory of interpreting in the training of conference interpreters through a survey among interpreting students at the Institute of Applied Linguistics, University of Warsaw. The experiment replicates a survey conducted ten years ago in a Spanish university by A. Collados Aís and attempts a comparison between results. |
