Abstract: | [The Structure of the Female Character in George Bălăiţă’ Novels] The present paper aims to analyze the current structure of the female characters in George Bălăiţăʼs novels. The male character is the dominant image of those texts, defined by reference to his opposite principle of existence. While resting archetypal beings and “glass” figures, subjecting man by their apparent obedience, in George Bălăiţă’s novels, women are caught in a game of contrasts that helps them to define themselves. |
