The author broaches the polysemyzation problem, a process of formation of new meanings of lexical signs as components of the linguistic code inside the speech. This process involves the cognitive conceptualization by means of various relationships established and advanced in language use. The polysemyzation is performed depending on various factors, primarily internal and intralinguistic, but the factors external to the language also – the pragmatic factors. The process of polysemyzation facilitates the comprehension of the meaning and eliminates the possible ambiguity by the discrimination of different meanings of the polysemantic signs.
