Abstract:The author researches the more important moments of Hamlet’s perception in Romanian Criticism. Starting with first translations in Romanian and theatrical ideas from Shakespearean tragedy, the Romanian criticism emitted different opinions about Hamlet’s nature, his ability to act, his features as modern intellectual, parallels with Cervantes’ Don Quixote and Caragiale’s Anca. Also it is investigated the contribution of our actual scholars as L. Cemortan, M. Cimpoi.
