Abstract: | Through a comparative-typological analysis of functional structures of the inn chronotope, which varies according to the main type of artistic time, different in these two works: the historic time in the first, cycle time in the second, the author aims to demonstrate new perspectives that the Bakhtinian concept of artistic chronotope opens in interpretation of the text. Its main functions (thematic, compositional, axiological and figurative) form, in the intersection points of the rows of temporal and spatial images, plurifunctional structures at all levels of stratiform and dynamic structure of represented reality. The core of the entire artistic universe, which is the chronotope character structure and the thematic unity of the entire chrono-spatial image, is revealed through all conflicting relationships between the main characters, namely towards an integrative interpretation of the text. |
