Abstract:
  • The Latin language does contain a lot of terms which bear juridical valencies. They may be spotted in most of the law’s domains: civil law, private law, administrative law, penal law. The Latin juridical terminology does circulate throughout the world. A lot of Latin originated phrases are usually employed, not only in the pleadings sustained during the juridical trials, but in other domains too: politics, the diplomatic milieu, even in the army’s jargon. Many among the Romanian juridical terms have survived from the Latin language.
