An analysis of the semantic fields referring to the concept of forest in Romanian includes several stages: the reading of the lexicographic definitions; the compared reading of definitions included in general dictionaries; a paradigmatic classification of the forest denominations in the common standard language; the establishing of relations of meaning between words belonging to the same semantic field (equivalences and difference in meanings); lexicographical definition versus terminographic definitions.
Afin d’analyser les champs lexico-sémantiques en relation avec le concept de forêt en langue roumaine, on a parcouru les étapes suivantes: lecture des définitions lexicographiques; lecture comparée des définitions des dictionnaires généraux; classes paradigmatiques des dénominations de la forêt dans le langage standard/commun; établissement de relations de sens entre les mots du champ: équivalences et oppositions; définitions lexicographiques versus définitions terminographiques.
