One of the most disputed issues related to the problem of translation is, no doubt, that of the dichotomy between ’fidelity’ vs. ’treason’ in the complex process of rendering a certain source text into a target text. The present paper presents both sides of the problem in discussion and also tries to offer a ballance between them.
Una dintre cele mai disputate probleme legate de traducere este, fără nicio îndoială, aceea a dihotomiei dintre ,,fidelitate” versus ,,trădare” în procesul complex al redării unui anumit text-sursă în text-ţintă. Lucrarea de faţă prezintă ambele aspecte ale problemei în discuţie şi încearcă, de asemenea, să le echilibreze.
