Abstract:
The study aims at describing the stylistic values of slang verbs frequently encountered in the exchange of electronic replies among Romanian internet users. The analysis, carried out within the framework of structuralism, reveals that the Romanian surfers are very creative when using slang to communicate across the internet. Many innovations become markers as they outline, from a stylistic perspective, the relation between the paradigmatic plane of language and syntagmatic plane of text.
