Abstract: | We propose a reflection on how the mother tongue (with regard to bilingualism) and the religious Orthodox practice contribute in a significant manner to building the identity of some Romanians settled in France. At both levels (linguistic and religious), cultural contents – pertaining to what is usually called national identity – are conveyed and transmitted. |
