| Abstract: | Before dedicating to the intensive critical work, young E. Lovinescu tried to become a dramatist. This study analyses the only play that he finished in 1906, De peste prag (From over the doorstep), throwing out into relief the Ibsenian influences of this drama never played: thematical knots and significant sequences, various elements of text and feminine character’s construction. |
